SWIM - BIKE - RUN
COACHING FOR ALL ABILITIES

Where To Begin?

Running

Whether you are looking to take your first steps to running a 5km, advancing to 10km, half marathon or marathon, I can help you.  Maybe entering into the ultra world is on your list too but you’re unsure where to start.  I will give you a hint – the answer is not ‘just run as many miles as you can’.  You’ll end up spending more money on physio then you will on your rent or mortgage.  Following a tailor made coaching plan that is designed and structured around you and your life style is what’s going to give you the tools you need to reach those goals.  And that’s where I come in.

Triathlon

Are you looking to enter the exhilarating world of not just 1 sport but 3 – and doing them all one after the other?  We all know someone who has done a triathlon – do you want to be that someone?  Or are you already part of the Anything Is Possible world and looking to improve?  Whatever your reason and background, I can help.  Following a tailor made coaching plan will ensure you get the most out of every training session each and every time.  As a working parent myself I understand the demands of modern day life and how difficult it can be to balance this along with training.  But it’s not impossible.  And I can help you see how to do it.

ABOUT ME

I started running after my youngest was born.  I needed something to help me improve both my physical and mental health.  What started as 15 minutes 3 times a week quickly developed in to a much healthier lifestyle that remains with me 10 years down the line.  It naturally progressed to coaching for me - I love the atmosphere, the anguish, the fear and the feeling of that finish line - but I love nothing more than helping someone realise they can do it too.

I'm a strong believer in anyone can run and do triathlon - when I started running I couldn't go further than the next lamp post in the street and now I run races of 100km. I couldn't swim 10 years ago but now I can hold my own at an Ironman.
I'm a strong advocate for women in sport and would love to see more and more getting involved. My philosphy is not simple because life is not simple - coaching and training has to work around your life and that's what I specialise in. There are no short cuts, the work needs done, but there are ways to be clever with your training to make it work.
